"Crossing Borders: Engaging and Connecting"

The SLA graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Iowa have formed a partnership to host an annual SLA Graduate Student Symposium. Organizing and hosting the conference alternates between the universities. Graduate students in SLA and related disciplines present their work and meet distinguished researchers in their field.

The theme of the 2014 symposium is Crossing Borders: Engaging and Connecting and will take place in Madison, Wisconsin on April 11th and 12th, 2014, at THE PYLE CENTERThe organizing committee is honored to welcome Lourdes Ortega from Georgetown University and Judith Liskin-Gasparro from the University of Iowa as this year's plenary speakers.
